AdobeStock_515921160The Caribbean Series is the championship tournament of winter professional baseball, bringing together the champions from Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and other invited nations to compete for regional supremacy. Widely considered the most prestigious event in Caribbean baseball, the tournament showcases passionate fans, outstanding talent, and a level of energy that every serious baseball fan should experience at least once. Hermosillo will host the event for a record seventh time in 2027, further cementing its reputation as one of the great baseball cities in Latin America.

Your baseball experience centers around Estadio Fernando Valenzuela, one of the finest ballparks in Mexico. Opened in 2013 and originally known as Estadio Sonora, the 16,000-seat stadium was built to Major League Baseball standards and first opened its gates for the 2013 Caribbean Series. Today, it proudly bears the name of Mexican baseball icon Fernando Valenzuela and serves as the home of the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, the most successful franchise in the history of the Mexican Pacific League.
