[fa icon="plus-square"] What kind of seats will we have at the ballgames?
We’ll secure premium tickets for all the games, making the visits to the ballparks as enjoyable as possible. Those tickets include lower level infield seats or club seats. Certain tours may feature reserved suites or party rooms. Traveling companions and families will be seated together, but not necessarily with the rest of the tour group. Unlike most other companies, we do not purchase group seats in the outfield or in the upper deck for our guests.
[fa icon="plus-square"] What kind of hotels will we be in?
We’ll be staying in first class hotels (Hyatt-, Marriott-, Hilton- and Westin- brand hotels). Hotels have been chosen based on their quality, location to the stadium, and proximity to other points of interest. Tour hotels will be in the city center or near the ballpark.
[fa icon="plus-square"] How much should I pack?
We suggest packing as light as you can. If you’re traveling with somebody, it’s better to pack two small suitcases instead of one big one because you’ll have to get it/them in and out of hotels, on and off motor coaches, etc. While our tour guides will try to be as helpful as they can on the road, they are not expected to handle your luggage, so make sure whatever you bring, you can handle it on your own.
[fa icon="plus-square"] Are the tours family friendly?
The trips are designed for fans of all ages. You should consider that the trips will require time on a motor coach, sitting at games, and walking. As long as anyone is capable of handling these elements, they should get along fine. No events are planned in facilities that have age limits. The only request is that you think about the others on the trips so they aren’t put in an uncomfortable situation.
[fa icon="plus-square"] How much walking will we do?
As an example, our guests walk from the motorcoach to the ballpark gates, and from the gates to our seats. Some tours require flights, so navigating through an airport is necessary. Whenever possible we’ll be taking stadium tours, and when possible walking from the hotel to the stadium. As most stadiums (and our hotels) will be situated in the downtown areas, plan on walking to lunches, dinners and shopping. The bottom line? Bring comfortable shoes and be prepared to see the sites! If you need some help, let us know before booking and we can discuss.
[fa icon="plus-square"] Where do we meet on the first day of the tour?
Every trip starts at a specific rendezvous point in the first city of the tour. Most likely, that will be the tour hotel. Guests will be mailed a tour packet that includes the hotel information and a detailed itinerary about a month before the tour.
[fa icon="plus-square"] What about rainouts?
In the event of a rainout, the home team will provide information concerning the future use, or refund, of the ticket. No refunds for rainouts will be issued by Big League Tours.
[fa icon="plus-square"] Is airfare included in the price?
All transportation costs while on the tour are included. Airfare from your home to the first city of the tour, and back home after the tour ends, is not included in the price. Our guests come from all over the world, so it's not possible for us to price our tours with airfare included. To get the best price when booking your airfare through the airline websites, we suggest selecting the multi-city or multi-destination option. If you need assistance, let us know.
